Team Wins at Sno-Drift Rally

Atlanta, MI, January 30-31, 2009

This weekend, the team competed again in the Sno and Drift Regional Rallies that run in conjunction with the Sno*Drift National Rally headquartered in Atlanta, Michigan. This rally is the one closest to home for team Shadowrally and for that reason, a huge number of friends and family came up to service, spectate, and support the team. Once again, I would like to give a special thanks to our crew. The conditions this weekend were extremely cold and some of the repairs necessary on the car required the help from everyone on the team. Fast and precise repairs to the car at service are the only reason we finished with the dual wins that we did.

Team Shadowrally would like to recognize crewmembers Jon Wickens and Mark Vojtisek who went above and beyond the call of duty. Jon and Mark were thereto help the team after they arrived at service after breaking a driveshaft and had to complete a

driveshaft replacement within twenty-five minutes, in a freezing cold,snow-covered parking lot.

The road conditions were very icy. The team started out with a couple ofadventures into snow banks on Friday before deciding to cut back the pace into a run to finish.

At the end of the weekend, Team Shadowrally headed home with Group 5 wins in both the Sno and Drift Regional Rallies.
